Group Classes
Looking for an activity for your group, team, or organization? Group Soapmaking Workshops share the history and basics of soapmaking and each student makes their own customized batch of 5 bars of coconut oil soap! I provide all PPE, equipment, and materials for the class. All I need from you is a space and coordination of your group!
The Cold Process Difference: Many classes on the market are for Melt and Pour Soap, or premade commercial soap bases. These bases are frequently made with low quality oils and contain ingredients like propylene glycol (petroleum product) and/or sorbitol (sugar) to mask the low quality. While Melt & Pour is very simple as the actual soapmaking is done by the commercial soap base manufacturer, it also produces a lower quality soap (and it isn’t nearly as fun either!) Professional Soapmakers use either the Cold Process or Hot Process method to make soap from scratch with the ability to control every ingredient for the utmost quality. Come learn the basics of making soap from scratch, the old fashioned way.
